About M-FEP60

M-FEP60 is Japanese FEP for the S60 3rd device. It is possible to use it even by the QWERTY model ,10 key model and both (as E90 or E70).

M-FEP60Switcher is an application to switch the default FEP to M-FEP60 according to favorite timing. FEPs can be switched while the application is being started by "Shift+Center key". Because Shift is used for the switch key, only the QWERTY keys model can be handled. It doesn't switch in the application that cannot execute M-FEP60 of the problem on the capability.

#Please use it after signing the DevCert. (Capabilities 13 all are necessary.)

It is a moment closed because there is a bug.

How to use for M-FEP60

Both(Full and 10 key)

  • The Chinese character doesn't output in the candidate when the Chinese character is converted if the dictionary doesn't exist.
  • A setting dialog displays for it to run "MFep60Setup", and to select "Options->MFep60 Settings".
    • Config:
      • InputType(10Key/FullKey(*)/Auto/Auto Rev):10 keys mode or full keys mode can be selected. "Auto" is a setting for E70. "Auto Rev" is a setting for E90.
      • DefaultMode(NoConv(*)/Kanji):The initial state of the input mode can set it. But, it doesn't support it for "Kanji".
      • CenterKeyMode(10Key)(TmpDecision(*)/FullDecision):The function of a central key to the hiragana input in 10 keys mode is set.
      • IconPos_X(158):The X-Position of an icon is set.
      • Icon always disp:Please remove the check while movie is reproducing when the icon is obstructive.
      • InputMode(BT-KB)(63488):Please specify the key code used as an input mode switch key when the Bluetooth keyboard is used. Default is "blue Fn+Z" (only Stowaway Keyboard).
      • Shortcut(BT-KB)(63509):Please specify the key code used as a short cut mode switch key when the Bluetooth keyboard is used. Default is "blue Fn+X" (only Stowaway Keyboard).
      • TextColor(Changing)(Black/White(*)):Text color when changing
      • HightliteColor(Changing)(Black/Read/Green/Blue/Magenta/Yellow/Cyan(*)/White):Highlight color when changing
      • ChangingEffect(Underline(*)/Fill):Changing Effect
      • Set Default:(None(*)/Set Default):When the dialog is shut after "Set Default" is selected, a set value is initialized.
    • SubConv:The candidate who uses it as subconversion can be selected.
    • Help:Help is displayed. The operation of each key operation can be confirmed.
    • Version:The version can be confirmed.
  • It Supports to "Stowaway Bluetooth Keyboard". However, because the driver for UIQ3 device doesn't exist now(07/01/21), the operation for which it hopes with a part of key and the modification key might not be obtained. Please push the following key when changing from the keyboard to the input mode and the short cut mode.
    • Blue Fn+z(possible to change):Change input mode
    • Blue Fn+x(possible to change):Change shortcut mode

Full key model

  • The initial state of the input mode is "Alphabet". The input mode can be switched by "Shift+Space". "Alphabet mode" and "Chinese character mode" alternately change into the input mode.
  • The icon becomes purple if "Blue Key+Space (Blue Key + Shift)" or "Chr+Space(Only E70)" is pushed, and it becomes a short cut mode. Afterwards, when an appropriate key is pushed, it operates as follows.
    • A,1:All select
    • S,2:All select and cut
    • D,3:255 characters are cut from the head
    • C,4:Copy
    • X,5:Cut
    • V,6:Paste
    • 7:Space
    • 8,Space:FullWidth Space
    • 9:Enter

10 key model

  • Select "10key" with M-FEP60Setup before it uses it.
  • The initial state of the input mode is "Figure". 10 keys mode can be switched by pushing "*" after "#" is pushed.
  • It changes in ten key mode in order of "Figure mode"->"Chinese character mode"->"Alphabet mode".
  • The character input when the Chinese character is input is put together on 10 key device of Japan. ("A,I,U,E,O"->1、"Ra,Ri,Ru,Re,Ro"->9)
  • The state icon greens when "*" is pushed when the Chinese character is input, and the input character can be treated as a capital letter. This is used by the eSKK function. It is possible to convert it with "1->11->*6(Change)", "A-i-ha(Japanese)".
  • The icon becomes purple if "#" is pushed with any character not input and it enters the short cut mode. Afterwards, when an appropriate key is pushed, it operates as follows. (The alphabet is used the the Bluetooth keyboard.)

    • 3:255 characters are cut from the head
    • 4:Copy
    • 5:Cut

    • 7:Space

    • 9:Enter

For E70

  • Select "Auto" with M-FEP60Setup before it uses it. It comes to change into the mode corresponding to opening and shutting automatically by this.
  • The short cut mode switch is "Chr+Space".

For E90

  • Select "Auto Rev" with M-FEP60Setup before it uses it. It comes to change into the mode corresponding to opening and shutting automatically by this.
  • The short cut mode switch is "Ctrl+Space".

How to use for M-FEP60Setup

  1. Menu of MFep60Setup
    1. Select FEP:FEP is selected.
    2. MFep60 Setting:A set dialog of M-FEP60 is displayed.
    3. About:The version of MFep60Setup can be confirmed.
    4. Exit:MFep60Setup is ended. (MFep60 doesn't end. )

About eSKK function

Install

  1. Uninstall M-FEP60 and M-FEP60Setup when you install the older version. Stop M-FEP60 with M-FEP60Setup before it uninstalls it.
  2. M-FEP60 and M-FEP60Setup of a new version is installed. (C drive only)
  3. Install Dictionary of M-FEP for favorite size. (C drive only)
  4. Reboot the device. (Operation is not steady if it doesn't reactivate.)
  5. When "MFep60Setup" is started after it reboots, and "Options->Select FEP" is selected, using M-FEP60 becomes possible. Please select "Select FEP" again when you want to return it to the default FEP(AknFEP).

Uninstall

  1. M-FEP60 is switched to the default FEP by "MFep60Setup->Options->Switch FEP".
  2. M-FEP60 and M-FEP60Setup are uninstalled.
  3. Dictionary of M-FEP file is uninstalled.
